Started off good and went downhill fast. Older gentleman showed up on time for the first home visit. Took all the measurements and provided a quote on the spot. We still had carpet down and I wanted to do the demo myself so after I completed that I called them back up to just ensure that the estimate was still good and to schedule a date to start the work. I scheduled the first time and a start work date on the phone with the lady. On the day of the visit I had a no call no show. I called them about an hour after their window and the lady on the phone apologized and said she was supposed to call and reschedule and forgot. She said they wanted to make it right and said any day and time would work so we set up a second chance visit. That day rolls around and I get the same no call no show. I call them about an hour after that appointment window and she says that he is running 3 hours behind schedule and wants to reschedule again. I did get another apology and I reluctantly gave them a third chance. He showed up on the third time and made no apologies in person. Then he told me it would cost a little more money because one of the rooms had a carpet pad originally stuck down to it and it would take more time and sanding. I thought he could eat that cost due to the missed times and no calls but I didn't argue. Then he said that the start work date wouldn't work and that he would call me the next day with a date to start the work. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN A CALL. The original start date is Monday and I have heard nothing. In the mean time I have gotten quotes from other companies and they are coming in less and seem to have this stuff together. I would not recommend this company and would use it as a last resort. NO CALL NO SHOW NO APOLOGY NO BUSINESS.

If I could give this business a negative rating, I would. Absolutely THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. They didn't show up twice when they were supposed to and didn't call to let us know they weren't coming. On the third try, they came out and said they can't do the floors because of staples and so on from the carpet being on the floor. We wanted to do business with them because they told my husband that they can remove the staples at an affordable price. The wife is extremely rude and will hold another conversation with someone else while on the phone with you. I gave her point of contact instructions and she did not follow it all as she was calling someone else about our project. For a business that has been around for 50 years, get your customer service together. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Called for an estimate on an evening and got someone from Columbus Floor Sanding to come out the next day. After measuring all the rooms and answering my many questions I accepted the estimate and arranged a start date. The crew arrived, and even though I was home alone I felt at ease as the guys they sent over seemed so nice. They put up plastic everywhere, although I don't know why as I couldn't really see any dust (I peeked) The whole process looked painful with 1 guy bent over most of the day using the smaller sander. Don't think I'd want to do this for a living. After sanding the floors they put down some stain samples for me to look at. I chose a really dark stain, Ebony as it seems to be in fashion right now. I was also told that it would help hide some of the stains left by the previous owner's dog. It seems to have worked as I can't really tell where they were. After sanding and staining they came back the following day to put down the polyurethane. They waited until the day after, a Wednesday to put down another coat. By Thursday morning I was able to walk on my newly redone floors, and waited until the weekend to put all my furniture back. I must say the floors look absolutely beautiful. Everyone comments on them, and asks who did them. A few of my friends have had their floors done, but they all rave about mine.

I could not be happier with the way these folks redid my floors! I recently closed on a house that was in desperate need of refinishing the hardwood. All original hardwood but scratched to the bone - I was skeptical at first that they would be able to fix them. But the end product was beautiful, the foreman and the workers were great to work with, and the time it took them to finish was actually shorter than originally estimated. The floors look beautiful now and it completely changed the feel of the house. 10/10 would work with them again. Thanks again, guys!

Beware!!! Absolutely horrible work. Floors are unevenly stained. Dirt, hair, grass, nails sealed in all over the floors. Can't clean it up because it's all under the finish so it's feels very dirty under bare feet. Didn't put hardware back for closets. We had cameras put in to keep an eye on contractors and they turned them off because they didn't want to be seen doing a less than quality job.
