Had an issue with customer service today. Called to talk with store manager...explained what happen and let him explain procedure. Mid sentence of my reply he hung up on me!! Sometimes customer service is valued much more than price. Word of mouth is also very good way to loose customers.

They promise 11% cash back but it’s a lie. I saved up 2 years worth of receipts and mailed it in as required. 2 yrs later? Still waiting

Menards has a wide selection of items for the house: electrical items (lighting, switches, outlets, extension cords, wires, fans), plumbing items (faucets, toilets, showers, pipes, valves), appliances (stoves, refrigerators, slow cookers, irons, blenders), stain/paint (brushes, paint pans, tape, ladders), doors, patio items, food, beverages, plants and pet food. Prices are reasonable. I took one star away because of the 11% rebate off of everything. Obviously, there are people that do not want to be bothered with this so Menard's makes more profit. For me, I'll take the time to send the rebate in but i'm irritated by it. I'd prefer prices to be marked down by 5% than to go through this advertising gimmick.

Great place to shop for most everything but *do not rent equipment from here.* Like most places, it's reasonable to ask that you clean the rented unit and empty any dust bags associated. I've rented a dozen units and have cleaned them all thoroughly. Upon returning a drum sander, a service rep did not know what the bag or accompanying pipe was for but then berated me for residue *within* the pipe that was not able to be cleaned, belittled and scolded me like some peon child for not getting every particulate of dust off of bag - though the bag was emptied - expecting that a user puts the bag in the washer. The kicker to all this: it was rented to me with dust all over the unit and a nailhead or staple kicking around the feeder. If you need to rent, go to Home Depot to avoid getting nitpicked and belittled.
