My wife and I have a tile theme for our kitchen backsplash and wanted to repeat it for our bathroom. Our kitchen is black and white, but we wanted a color to replace the black. We also decided to use penny tile for the floor and just replace a tile randomly here too. We went all over to find coordinating tiles. Mr. Boggs helped us find the tile. I was impressed by the the quality for the price. It will look very high quality, but within our budget. Don’t waste your time. The prices aren’t amazing anyway. I’ve encountered one employee that is helpful in all my visits. Checkout accuses you of stealing, scans items multiple times, can’t count paper money, charges you more than items cost because they always have things incorrectly placed, doesn’t listen when you let them know you want to enter your email for the receipt, and typically what you want isn’t in stock. Go elsewhere, where staff are friendly, prices are lower, and you’re more likely to find what you went there for. I'm a 10-year customer at this location and customer service has dropped significantly in the past five years, in my experience. However, my last two visits were much better, all because of what I see as more engaging and seemingly happy associates. Kudos to the leaders and associates making a difference. I couldn’t find what I was looking for in any store. Valerie asked if she could assist - she pulled picket fence panels up on her computer and it said there were 25 in stock. She called the lumber manager and he brought the 10 I needed to the front - then helped me load the panels and fence posts. Real service which you don’t see anymore - great attitudes. I really had a great experience at this store and will continue to shop there always. I visited customer service to request assistance with key duplication. The customer service was excellent, and they promptly called an associate to help me. However, the associate's behavior was disappointing; he was abrupt and mentioned he was already assisting three other customers, suggesting I could make the key myself without his help. Afterward, I tried using the self-checkout, only to discover that the service was no longer available. Had I known, I would have opted for the regular checkout line instead.

I've had real hit or miss experiences with sales associate help at Home Depot stores, but I can usually get decent assistance at the West Broad Columbus store. My most recent experience was especially exceptional. Kevin Mahan went above and beyond in helping us today. He overheard my husband asking me to find help and he walked way over to us to assist. We were looking for some specialty items that were very specific sale deals that were difficult to locate, and Kevin really went beyond the call of duty for us to locate the specific items. He really was exceptionally helpful. Great experience.

“On 5/6/24 I called a Home Depot in Columbus Ohio and made arrangements for them to measure my front door to then come back and install a new storm door. The measurement was to be on 5/13/24. On 5/14/24 I tried texting and calling 4 times to find out the status of my measurement and what the next step would be. I was unable to reach anyone who could answer that question. I finally found a text number and was able to cancel the installation but they refused to refund the $40. I’m going back to Lowe’s, which has done thousands of dollars in installs for me, I never should have called Home Depot.

Home Depot is great but the management in this store has really let this place go down hill. So much clutter, so many employees just chatting in the middle of the clear aisles where it is uncomfortable to try and pass by. Just a hot mess!

So I dropped into the Home Depot here in West Columbus off of West Broad Street and it was a great experience very customer friendly. So my mission was to get some security camera cable extensions for a night owl home security system. Now installing this system which has 16 cameras I had to go around to three different Walmarts by extension cables bought them out completely because he sometimes they don’t tell you that you’re going to need all these cables when you buy the night owl system. And what I love about Home Depot is it is a chain box store and the layout is identical each and everyone what makes it very convenient to find what you’re looking for if you’ve ever been to one of the stores before. At the end of the day and the bottom line is the staff here were very helpful it made my experience pleasant and I would highly recommend it if you’re in the west side of Columbus Ohio I need a home improvement store

Had to buy a gallon of paint. It was between 7pm-8pm and the paint department was nice only. All other employees have no customer service skills
